Merricat’s is located on East 88th Street, in the Yorkville area on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. We occupy the second floor of St. Christopher’s House in the nationally landmarked Church of the Holy Trinity.

Families enter Merricat’s through a beautiful garden, which holds one of our two playgrounds.

Merricat’s has three large classrooms, each with high ceilings and lots of windows. Each classroom is intentionally divided into areas that are created for the whole group, small group, and individual work and play. We have a playground connected to our Sunshine Room, a kitchen, family room, staff room, and school office. These rooms provide space for collaborative planning, family meetings, and special activities.

Our space is charming, colorful, bright and inviting, and it makes children, families, and staff, all feel at home.
