Mission Statement

Merricat’s Castle School, founded in 1973, is an early childhood program serving children between 2 and 5 years old, and it is also the cornerstone of the Association to Benefit Children. At Merricat’s, children, family members, and teachers are respected and embraced as individuals and invaluable members of our school community.

Through intentional curriculum planning and execution, our expert teaching staff ensures that all children are nurtured and challenged socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively in a joyful, exciting, and inclusive environment. We are committed to the health and safety of every child, fostering a love of learning and supporting each child’s growth in all areas of development, including the less tangible skills of resilience, flexibility, and kindness.
